Plug In America Blazes a Trail to Market for PEVs

Dealers and their sales staff are central to growing sales in the fledgling market for plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs). Nearly all new PEVs (excluding Tesla) are sold through independently owned dealerships. Yet an increasing number of reports show that many dealers struggle. These reports suggest dealers could be doing more, with the help of manufacturers and potentially others, to spur PEV adoption. Read more from Eric Cahill.

Electric Motorcycles Present and Future

Increasingly, electric cars are entering the mainstream consciousness of consumers, but other electric vehicles are also making significant strides, including affordable, long-range, and really fast two-wheelers.

"Electric motorcycles are more in reach for most people in terms of affordability and capability," Harlan Flagg, of Hollywood Electrics, said. Read more about electric motorcycles.
