stations next Tuesday, July 24 from 5-6 p.m.
Here are some basic
details of the event - note arrival time for EVs. If you have some information
about EVs to display, please bring it for the MBEVA table. Map showing location of
chargers below. Grand Opening
of 2 EV charging stations at Del Monte Center:
p.m. EVs arrive and set up. The
dealer-provided EVs will be staged next to the
chargers (Volt and Nissan) and the others clustered around them.
p.m. – people mingle, talk to owners, and
dealers about their EVs and munch light refreshments.

Nancy Selfridge, etc.) in audience and thanks EV owners as well as Cardinale
Nissan and Butts Chevrolet for providing cars.o

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony July 24 at 5 p.m. MONTEREY, Calif., July 12, 2012 -- Del Monte Shopping Center is celebrating the addition of electric
vehicle (EV) charging stations with a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, July 24 at5 p.m.
The center has partnered with Car
Charging Group and Ace Parking
Management to bring the convenience of EV charging services to the Monterey
City of Monterey commends Del Monte Shopping Center for its environmental
leadership,” said Mayor Chuck Della Sala. "Electric vehicle charging stations will
power hybrid and electric vehicles that help reduce oil consumption and keep
our air clean.”

the foot of the escalators near Yama Sushi Restaurant.
