Amen to pushing for the conversion credit. Conversions have a far greater per-vehicle economic impact than any imported new EV, and may yet become a force in commercial and niche vehicle types.

Is there any hope that those of us DIYers that have in spent more than the cost of a new Volt or Leaf to convert older existing donor cars to 100% electric will see any tax credit?
